Remote online notarization

Video, document, signature, seal, and journal in one ceremony.

SealBook gives the notary a ceremony workspace that keeps the video call beside the document being notarized. The signer sees the same document, signs in-session, and every step is recorded into the case record.

How it works

A ceremony built around the notary's legal record.

Open the case

Upload or assemble the document and create the remote/e-notary session from the case drawer.

Signer consents

The signer accepts recording/e-sign terms and passes the identity stage before ceremony.

Run video ceremony

Video stays beside the document so both parties review the same file.

Seal and bind

The notary applies the certificate/e-seal, uploads recording, and binds the journal entry.

Production RON gates

SealBook labels remote video honestly until all statutory services are configured.

Remote online notarization generally requires notary state authorization, credential analysis, KBA or equivalent identity proofing, audio-video recording, and retention controls. SealBook has the ceremony workflow; vendor identity proofing must be configured for production use.
