Test the license scan with your phone
Photograph the barcode on the BACK of a driver's license. SealBook decodes it and shows exactly the journal fields it would record — the image is discarded and the full ID number is never returned or stored (only the last 4).
Tips for a clean read
- Fill most of the frame with the barcode (the wide striped rectangle)
- Flat, good light, no glare — tilt slightly if the flash reflects
- Hold steady; tap the barcode on screen to focus before shooting
- Works with any US state license or ID card (AAMVA standard)
